Our Story
From humble beginnings to huge becomings... all thanks to your support.
ReUse Golf Balls was founded in July 2020 as a lockdown start-up business specialising in selling recycled golf balls. by a team of two ex-university students from Troon (a small golfing town on the west coast of Scotland) where the business is based, and keen golfers themselves!
The idea started when they stumbled across thousands of used golf balls collected by one's late Grandad. Te other knew there was some money to be made so they got to work cleaning them. The rest is history...
After selling out of our original stock and gaining some exposure in the local newspapers, the business started to receive donations of golf balls from very kind individuals who didn't have any use for them. This allowed us to grow exponentially and start turning over thousands of balls per week.
We now work with over 100 long-term suppliers and ball collectors who we buy balls from in order to meet our demand. This includes our two little local helpers shown in the photos above! (Please get in touch if you would like to supply/donate us balls). We also have a team of 10+ staff members who help us clean, process and grade our balls, along with answering all your customer queries!
Throughout our time as a business, we have donated a portion of sales to the Scotland-based charity 'Whiteleys Retreat' who help children with cancer and their families. We have managed to raise over £6,500 for this fantastic cause so far.
